WEF side events in Davos

January in Davos brings together conversations in hotels, houses, galleries and meeting spaces across town. Here’s how to find the ones that fit your interests—and understand what you need to get through the door.

One Davos week. Many separate organizers

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting takes place on 18–22 January 2027. Independent side events happen around it, with some gatherings scheduled before or after those dates. Each organizer sets its own programme and admission rules.

A side-event registration does not provide access to the official Annual Meeting. Davos Society is an independent guide, not a World Economic Forum registration service. Check the official tourism dates ↗

A good agenda starts with a little breathing room

  1. Find the conversation

Search by subject or organizer, then read the individual event. A house or programme can run for several days; its separately listed sessions are the things to put in your agenda.

  2. Check the invitation

Free does not always mean walk-in. An event may require an application, a ticket or an invitation. Use the organizer’s original registration page and wait for their confirmation.

  3. Make room for the walk

Check the venue and map before committing to your next session. Allow time for snow, entrances and check-in. A mountain venue may need a funicular, not just a longer walk.

Davos tickets, applications and invitations

There is no single side-event ticket for the whole of Davos. Start with the event you want to attend, then check its organizer’s registration page. A booking for one gathering does not grant entry to the official World Economic Forum Annual Meeting or to another organizer’s events.

Open
The organizer describes open access. Check whether a free registration or venue check-in is still required.
Application
You can request a place, but the organizer decides whether to confirm it. An application is not an admission ticket.
Ticketed
Check exactly what the ticket, pass or wristband includes. Some sessions are sold separately, and approval conditions can still apply.
Invitation only
A personal invitation is required. A listing on this website does not make the event publicly bookable.
Access to be confirmed
The organizer has not yet published clear participation rules. We keep that uncertainty visible instead of assuming entry is free or open.

Saving a listing on Davos Society builds your personal agenda. It does not register you with its organizer. Keep the organizer’s confirmation and allow time for check-in before your next event.

The questions people arrive with

Can I attend Davos without a WEF badge?

Independent organizers may welcome attendees who do not have an official Annual Meeting badge. Entry depends on each event’s rules and any venue restrictions. Confirm with the organizer; there is no single pass that opens every side event.

Does saving an event register me?

No. Saving builds your personal agenda. Registration happens separately with the organizer, who decides whether to confirm your place.

Why are some times or venues missing?

Some organizers announce a day before the full details. We show what is confirmed and retain the original source link. A date-only event does not mean an all-day event, and a private venue is not a missing map pin.

Can I see last year’s programme?

Yes. The 2026 event archive and 2026 programmes help you explore the previous edition. Historical appearances do not confirm participation in 2027.
