In town

A proper lunch, a little air, a helping hand.

A good Davos day needs somewhere to pause. Put lunch and a little breathing room in your calendar with the same care as a meeting. You will enjoy the next conversation more if the previous hour included something to eat.

Find your meal near the rest of your day

Start with where you will be, rather than a restaurant at the opposite end of town. Our dining directory helps you find options around your venues. Open the restaurant’s own page for its current menu and booking arrangements.

During WEF week, a restaurant’s ordinary hours may not tell the whole story. Check whether it is serving the public on your date, whether a reservation is needed and whether the kitchen will still be open when you arrive. Tell the restaurant about any dietary requirements when booking.

Leave one small gap that belongs to you

A coffee without a meeting attached, a short walk or ten minutes to write down what you learned can be surprisingly valuable. You do not need to turn every break into another activity. Choose something close enough that the break stays a break.

For a more deliberate outing, the official winter-walking guide includes the Hohe Promenade above the town. Check current conditions and the route before setting off; it is different from the main Promenade street. If time is tight, a simple wander near your next venue may be the better choice.

Our local partner: Davos Service

Some plans are easier with a person on the ground. Davos Service is our local partner for accommodation, transport, workspaces and event logistics. Their service is particularly relevant when several people’s arrivals, places to stay and meeting needs have to fit together.

If you get in touch, share your dates, team size and the practical help you need. Confirm availability, pricing and the details directly with them. Their services are separate from Davos Society; this introduction does not provide an event invitation or guarantee access to a venue.

For the little questions, start nearby

Your accommodation and Davos Klosters tourism are useful places to start for everyday local questions. Ask about the right bus stop, a suitable nearby walk or a current service opening time. Local advice is especially helpful when plans need to change on the day.

Keep the essentials download from this guide on your phone for the practical details you may need without a connection. For a booking or invitation, the provider or organizer remains the person who can confirm it.
