Your Davos week

One town. Many invitations. Find your week.

It is easy to look at a busy Davos calendar and feel as though everyone else knows a secret route in. Start with something simpler: which conversation interests you, who is hosting it, and what do they ask you to do to attend?

The official meeting and the wider week

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting is listed for 18–22 January 2027 at the Davos Congress Centre. The official meeting is invitation-only. Around it, independent organizers run their own conferences, cultural gatherings, dinners and other events.

Those are separate invitations. A side-event ticket does not provide World Economic Forum accreditation, and an application is not a confirmed place. Read the organizer’s access information for the particular event you want to attend. Davos Society is an independent guide, not the World Economic Forum or a ticket issuer.

A house is a home for conversations

A programme brings related activities together. A house may be both a programme identity and a physical place. An individual event is the breakfast, panel or reception that you can put in a calendar. Looking at all three layers helps you understand the week without mistaking a programme announcement for an all-day appointment.

Use Programmes to see the bigger picture, then open the individual sessions that suit you. Follow the organizer’s own agenda too: a schedule may grow or change after the programme is first announced. Different sessions within the same house can have different entry rules.

Save the confirmation, not just the idea

Saving an event in your Davos Society agenda is a planning step. You still need to register or apply on the organizer’s page when required. Keep the resulting confirmation, check the name and date, and note any ID or security instructions in that invitation.

For a first day, choose a few genuinely relevant events and leave room for the walk, a meal and the conversations afterwards. A smaller plan you can actually follow is often more rewarding than a long list of places you hoped to reach.

A note about older Davos advice

The World Economic Forum announced that Open Forum Davos has been discontinued. Older articles recommending its registration pages are no longer a reliable plan for 2027. Check the edition on any agenda before making arrangements.

Details for private venues and admission-controlled events may arrive only with your confirmation. If something remains unclear, ask the organizer. A blank time or an undisclosed address is better than a confident guess.
